Exploring embodiment in visual space…

In 2021 I explored the limits of physical theatre performance in virtual reality. My team and I explored four ‘big ideas’ inside a virtual reality environment with a live-cast of six performers. We used a devised, research-based process to investigate the rehearsal, staging and audience capacity possibilities of VR. Through this process, we developed a new approach to rehearsal, conceptualization and presentation of VR work.
